Maximize your ROI
with extended equipment service life

80% of the digital industry's carbon footprint is linked to manufacturing (ARCEP ADEME 2023 study).

It is therefore important to reduce the production of new equipment, to reduce the consumption of natural resources and limit the use of polluting components.

Extending the lifecycle of IT infrastructures is the DNA of Jiliti, the third-party maintenance expert. Thanks to our know-how, we enable our customers' equipment to last more than 10 years beyond the end of manufacturer support.

Our approach is based on assiduous, innovative maintenance and the use of second-hand parts.

ADEME-ARCEP recommendations

By 2050, if nothing is done, the digital sector's carbon footprint could triple compared to 2020. To reduce this impact, studies by ARCEP and ADEME (the French Environment and Energy Management Agency) on assessing the environmental impact of digital technology, highlight the importance of extending the lifespan of equipment, including servers.

Long-term maintenance

Jiliti management also enables you to optimize the lifecycle of your equipment, thereby reducing your carbon footprint. The average lifespan of servers is generally estimated at 5 to 7 years. But it is possible to keep them in service longer. Jiliti experts are able to double the lifespan of IT equipment. We add an average of 5 years to the lifespan, ensuring optimal performance for 10 to 15 years.

Extending server maintenance from 3 to 6 years means -23% GHG emissions. From 3 to 9 years: -31%. From 3 to 12 years: -35%. (A iso energy performance of equipment, for a standard server in France: 2 CPU 16 cores, 4 RAM 32 GB, 4 SSD, 2 HDD, 2 PSU. Source : Datavizta)

Jiliti offers maintenance services encompassing Third-Party Maintenance (TPM), Hybrid Maintenance and Governance. Our flexible, vendor-independent model gives you greater clarity over your budgets, with savings of up to 70% (in TPM vs. OEM) and up to -30% in Global Massification.

Obsolescence management

By massifying your maintenance contracts with Jiliti, you can avoid price increases linked to the obsolescence of your IT equipment. In fact, OEMs often increase maintenance rates for equipment that has reached the end of its support life, to encourage you to replace it.

A Jiliti audit enables you to take stock of your needs and equipment inventory. You avoid premature replacement of equipment that still meets your needs, and maximize your ROI.
